The spacious two bedroom house, which sleeps 4+, is completely self-contained at some distance from our home.  The front of the house faces down the drive towards the village square where a market is held on the third Sunday of each month; to one side is our orchard where you can help yourself to raspberries, apricots, apples, peaches and pears when in season.

 To the rear , which is south facing, the double doors from the lounge open onto the terrace and enclosed lawns leading to the swimming pool (10m x 5m, also fully enclosed).

Ground Floor

Entrance hall; shower room with washing machine and hair dryer; bedroom with two single beds; large lounge with wood burning stove, double bed settee, TV/DVD player with a range of DVD's (also receives  British TV), and a CD player;  the kitchen diner is fully equipped and has a microwave, fridge freezer,  gas cooker and dishwasher. There is a diverse selection of books to read and games including Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit.  Please note: there are three steps between the dining room and the lounge.

New for 2008 - we have now installed a broadband internet access point, a laptop is available at a small additional cost.

First Floor

Large bedroom with double bed, an additional bed is available if required.  A cot, high chair and safety gates are available if required. Babies and young children are welcome.

Outside

Lawns and terracing include an outdoor eating area and lead to the 10m x 5m enclosed pool. Pool furniture, pool chairs and a barbecue are provided.

The house is comfortably furnished  and is ideal for a lazy holiday relaxing on the roomy terrace surrounding the pool or as a base for touring the local area.  With heating throughout it is also well suited for an out of season break.

Bed linen, tea towels and gas  are included in the rental cost- between October and the end of April we charge for electricity used in excess of 5 euros per day and can provide a daily basket of logs for 20 euros a week or pro rata. If you fly here we can provide towels for a small supplement.    Sorry, no pets.
