Do you fancy a break between October 2007 and May 2008 ? La Maison du Gardien is available for short breaks or for longer stays; ideal for a rest and a chance to recharge your batteries or perhaps to do a spot of house-hunting. There is a cosy wood burning stove in the living room and we provide a daily supply of logs for 20 euros a week (or pro rata). There is electric heating in the bedrooms, dining room and shower room and warm duvets for the comfortable beds; we charge for the electricity used in excess of 5 euros per day at the current rate.. A gas heater is available and the cost of the gas is included in the rental fee.  All bed linen is supplied and for out of season breaks we also provide towels.

Activity Break

How about making your own creation in stained glass? Why not stay at La Maison du Gardien and spend a few days doing a short course in basic stained glass techniques culminating in designing and creating your own masterpiece of stained glass? Workshops are held just a few minutes drive away.

There are a number of airports nearby which are served by the budget airlines (Air France  Flybe    Ryanair  Easyjet  Jet2 )  including Poitiers, Tours, Angers, La Rochelle and Nantes,  Car hire is available at all the local airports: car hire If you would prefer to use your own car, check out the budget ferry service Speedferries.

Our prices between October 2008 and 2 May 2009  are:
